What is Super 8?
Super 8 is an analog film format, introduced by Kodak in the 1960s. It quickly became a favorite for home movies because of its ease of use and unique, nostalgic look. Unlike digital video, Super 8 requires chemical processing (just like film photography). It yields silent film clips in a warm, grainy aesthetic with a timeless cinematic quality.

Don’t even get me started on how much I adore Super 8… Since discovering it, I have fallen in love with this medium. In an era dominated by digital “perfection,” Super 8 offers the perfect complement to your wedding photos, capturing grainy, shaky, candid moments. It’s nostalgic, warm, homey and an amazing addition to wedding packages.
What’s the Process?
After filming, I work with a local Colorado film processor who develops and scans the film. Once I receive the film scans, I work on your edited video and then it’s all yours!
