Hey, I’m Makaila Vail Wedding Photographer!

Colorado has been my home for the last 11 years and I fall more and more in love with this magnificent state with each passing day. Even before I was lucky enough to call Colorado home, I spent my summers in East Vail, splashing in the Gore river, summertime sledding up at Shrine Pass, and horseback riding through aspen groves. The Vail Valley holds some of my most cherished memories.

All this to say, I know this place well - from it’s paths well traveled to the hidden gems. I know how to plan for Colorado’s signature unpredictable weather, seasonal traffic patterns & closures, how to avoid the crowds, and I would love to document your wedding day.

After completing your detailed questionnaire and holding our pre-wedding meeting, it’s time to tie the knot! We’ll meet and soak up the incredible day you’ve curated to honor your love. You’ll receive sneak peeks soon after, so you can share the exciting day with your loved ones!

After completing your detailed shot list questionnaire and holding our pre-wedding meeting, it’s time to tie the knot! You’ll receive sneak peeks soon after, so you can share the exciting news with your loved ones!
